Endhiran goes mobile
Can’t wait to get a taste of Rajinikanth’s Endhiran? Now you can savour some of the film’s songs, trailers and other info as you catch the action on your mobile phone.
With its audio launch all set to happen in Malaysia on Saturday, fans are yearning to get their hands on some Endhiran content.
Going with the buzz, the movie will soon have its own collection of applications online and on mobile phones.
Explains Priya Krishnan, head of marketing at Think Music, “Rajinikanth has a big fan base all over the world. He’s huge in Japan and we’ve already got mails from people in North America asking when they will able to access content legally. So, this is just a way to reach out to all his fans.” she says.
“With mobile phones now becoming a basic essential of life, everybody wants to access content wherever they are and this is how we help them get the latest Endhiran news,” continues Priya.
The mobile applications will be available at app stores online where you can download the Endhiran application.” They’ve priced it reasonably low, so that any fan of Rajinikanth can access it. You can get the latest news, trivia, all the songs as they release, the trailers, when they come out and also for every person who downloads the application, you are assured of a ticket so that you can pre-book it!
The apps will be available online on www.endhiranthemovie.in and also on four different platforms for mobiles like the iPhone, Android, Nokia and Blackberry. While the website will have a mini- store where you can buy the CD digitally or get it shipped, the mobile has an app that is a one-stop-shop for Endhiran goodies.
And subscribers for the application will be lucky enough to get an Endhiran poster and a badge!
