Chartered Accountant, Financial Services Industry, 45 years, happily married, Chennaite by heart and soul.

Adiyen (myself) is a big Kadi-yen (what is the English word for this?) according to my friends but I consider that I am spontaneous, humorous, funny, jovial and have a great ability to play with words in any language that I reasonably know.

I love music, largely Tamil Music (MSV, Illaya Raja, AR Rahman, SPB). I like reading books that are thought provoking, motivating and help in improving oneself. I also enjoy reading whatever Tamil super-writer Sujatha wrote. I read lots of blogs and enjoy the view points and thought records of people of different ages. Especially reading blogs of people younger to me help me plug generation gap with my children

I love good movies in any language and of any genre. But, still I lean a lot on comedies. I have enjoyed Yes Minister, Yes Prime Minister, Friends, Everybody loves Raymond and Fawlty Towers amongst English comedy serials.

My favorites in Indian Cinema are Sivaji Ganesan, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh, Amir Khan, Anil Kapoor, Mani Ratnam, K Balachandar, K Bagyaraj, Mouli, Crazy Mohan and Subash Ghai. Amongst Comedians I like Nagesh and Vivek and to a some classic comedies of Gounda Mani and Senthil. My classmate and close friend is Mr. Chitralaya Sriram who has written successful stage plays “Kadhalikka Neram Hundu”, “Thantramukhi” and the much accalaimed “Swadeshi Iyer” and even if he was not my close friend, I would have liked these plays.

And finally I enjoy the refreshing Tamil Ghana songs and good folk music that make you at once feel young at heart with their native flair.

Currently I am learning to enjoy Carnatic music including the nuances though I have been hearing Carnatic instrumental for many years now.
