தமிழகத்தை குவைத் ஆக்கும் திமுக
எண்ணை வளத்தால், தோண்ட தோண்ட தினார்கள் அகப்படும் குவைத் நாட்டில் குடிமக்களுக்கு அரசாங்கம் கொடுக்கும் சலுகைகளை பற்றி வர்ணிப்பவர்கள் cradle to grave – தொட்டில் முதல் இடுகாடு வரை என்று சொல்வார்கள். குடிமக்களுக்கு பிறந்தது முதல் இறப்பு வரை பல வகைகளில் அரசாங்கம் கொஞ்சம் பணம் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டேயிருக்குமாம்.
சமீபத்தில் குவைத் 5-20-50 என்று முப்பெரும்விழா கொண்டாடியது. சுதந்திரம் கிடைத்து ஐம்பது வருடங்கள், ஈராக் ஆக்கிரமிப்பிலிருந்து விடுதலையாகி இருபது வருடங்கள் இவற்றுடன் தற்போதைய குவைத் அரசர் பதவியேற்று ஐந்து வருடங்கள் என்று 2011 பிப்ரவரி 25-26 தேதிகளில் கொண்டாட்டம் நடந்தது. அதை முன்னிட்டு, சிறப்பு சலுகையாக, அரசாங்கம் ஒவ்வொரு குவைத்திக்கும் ஆயிரம் தினார்கள் அன்பளித்தது.
இந்த அன்பளிப்பு, பிப்ரவரி 24 இரவு 12 மணிவரை பிறந்த குழந்தைகள் உள்பட, எல்லா குவைத்தியருக்கும் கிடைத்தது.
நீங்கள் கேட்பதற்கு முன்னால் கிளாரிஃபையிவிடுகிறேன்; அன்பளிப்பு குவைத்தியருக்கு மட்டுமே, இங்கே சம்பாதிக்க வந்திருக்கும் என்னை போன்ற வெளிநாட்டவருக்கு கிடையாது. அதற்குக் காரணம், குவைத் வாழ் இந்தியர்களில் பலர் தமிழகத்திலிருந்து வந்தவர்கள் என்பது அரசாங்கத்திற்கு தெரிந்ததாலா என்று தெரியவில்லை. இந்தியா போடும் டபுள் டாக்சேஷன் ரிலீஃப் உடன்பாடுபோல குவைத் அரசாங்கமும் தமிழக திமுக அரசாங்கமும் டபுள் அன்பளிப்பு விலக்கு உடன்பாடு போட்டிருக்கலாம், யார் கண்டது.
குஜராத்தில் மோதியும், பீகாரில் நிதிஷூம் இலவசமாக நல்ல அரசாங்கம் மட்டும் கொடுத்து ஆட்சி நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். தமிழக கட்சிகளிடையே இலவசமாக கொடுக்க நல்ல ஆட்சி இல்லாததால், காம்பன்சேஷன் போல வேறு இலவசங்களை வாரி விடுகிறார்கள்.
இதில் முன்னோடி நிற்பதில் திமுகவிற்கு நிகர் தமிழகத்தில் மட்டுமல்ல, இந்தியாவிலேயே இருக்கமுடியாது என்பது என் கணிப்பு. திமுகவினர் இலவசிப்பதில் பழம் தின்று மரம் போட்டவர்கள்.
வாழ்க்கைத் தரத்தை நிஜமாக உயர்த்தக்கூடியவற்றை செய்யாமல், கவர்ச்சிகரமான இலவசம் கொடுத்து மக்களை இலவச போதையில் வைத்திருப்பது திமுகவிற்கு கைவந்த கலை. மழையில் அழியாத, குண்டு-குழியில்லாத நல்ல சாலைகள், தடையில்லாத மின்சாரம், அரசு பள்ளிகளிலிலும், கல்லூரிகளிலும் தரமான கல்வி, சமூக பேதமில்லாத அனைவருக்கும் சமவாய்ப்பு நிலை, அரசாங்க மருத்துவமனைகளில் சிறப்பான வசதிகளுடன் அனைவருக்கும் மருத்துவ வசதிகள், நேர்மையான ஊழலற்ற அரசு அலுவலகங்கள், குற்றவாளிகளுடன் கை கோர்க்காத, பொதுமக்கள் நலம் காக்கும் காவல் நிலையங்கள் இவற்றை தருவதற்கு தேர்தல் அறிக்கைகள் தேவையில்லை.
திருவல்லிக்கேணி எம்.ஓ.பி. துவக்கப்பள்ளியில் நான் படித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கையில் (1972-73), ஒரு கும்பல் திடுமென வந்து பள்ளி மாணாக்கர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் மஞ்சள் நிற அட்டை போட்ட புதிய 80 பக்க நோட்டு புத்தகமும், பென்சிலும் வினியோகித்து சென்றது. அது அப்போது திமுக அமைச்சரவையில் கல்வி அமைச்சராக இருந்த நெடுஞ்செழியனின் பிறந்தநாளுக்காக என்பது புத்தகத்தின் பின்னால் பிரிண்டியிருந்த பாஸ்போர்ட் சைஸ் போட்டோவை பார்த்து தெரிந்து கொண்டேன்.
70களில் இலவச மூக்கு கண்ணாடி, கை ரிக்ஷாகாரர்களுக்கு சைக்கிள் ரிக்ஷா என்று திமுக வழங்கியிருக்கிறது. நடுவில் பதிமூன்று வருடங்கள் வனவாசத்திற்கு போயிருக்காவிட்டால் சைக்கிள் ரிக்ஷாவில் மோட்டார் பொருத்தியும், ஆட்டோ கொடுத்தும் ஃபாஸ்ட் ட்ராக்கில் பரிணாம வளர்ச்சியிருப்பார்கள்.
சிலபல இலவச திட்டங்களை அதிமுகவும் செய்வதற்கான அறிவியல் காரணம் இரு கட்சிகளின் டி.என்.ஏ.வும் ஒன்றே என்பதுதான்.
சென்ற தேர்தலில் இலவச கலர் டிவி, கேஸ் அடுப்பு, ஒரு ரூபாய் அரிசி, இரண்டு ஏக்கம் நிலம் (இன்னும் தரவில்லை என்பதால் ஏக்கர் ஏக்கராக ஏக்கம்தான்) என்று தேர்தல் குட்டையை கலக்கிய திமுக தலைமையிடம் இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு முன்னால் ஒரு நிருபர் சென்ற தேர்தலின் கதாநாயகன் இலவச டிவி, இந்த தேர்தலில் என்ன என்று கேட்டதற்கு அவர் சுருக்கமாக “கதாநாயகி” என்று பதில் கொடுத்திருந்தார்.
ஒருவேளை திமுக தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் அடுத்த தேர்தல் வரை குஷ்பு, நமீதா இலவச நடனம் என்று ஏதாவது இருக்குமோ என்று ஏதாவது இருக்குமோ என்று யோசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தேன்.
திமுக இன்று விட்ட தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் அப்படிப்பட்ட ரிக்ட்டர் ஸ்கேல் 40 நில அதிர்ச்சி எதுவும் இல்லை. ஆனாலும், 6 முதல் 60 வரை அனைவரின் வாக்குகளையும் அரசாங்க செலவில் வாங்க இலவசங்களுக்கு குறைவில்லை. பெண்களுக்கு மிக்சி, கிரைண்டரும், வயதானவர்களுக்கு பேருந்தில் இலவச பயணமும், At home இலவச மருத்துவமும், ஏழைகளுக்கு இலவச அரிசியும் போக அரசு பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு இலவச சீருடையும், இன்னும் பண உதவிகளும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்கள். இலவச டிவியும், கேஸ் அடுப்பும் இன்னும் கொடுத்து முடியாததால் அதுவும் தொடருமாம்.
தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் சொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கும் இலவசங்களை படித்ததில் உண்மையில் தமிழகத்தில் வாழ்வது என்பது குவைத்தில் வாழ்வது போலத்தானோ என்று சொல்ல தோன்றுகிறது. நம்ம ஊரிலும் குழந்தையை அரசாங்க தொட்டிலில் போட திட்டம் இருக்கிறது. இறந்துவிட்டால் புதைப்பதற்கும், பயோகேசில் எரிப்பதற்கும் கட்டணம் கிடையாது. நடுவில் இருக்கும் வாழ்க்கையில் சாப்பிட அரிசியும், அதை சமைக்க அடுப்பும், பொழுது போக்க டிவியும், பயணம் செய்ய பேருந்தும், வீடு தேடிய மருத்துவமும், மெடிக்கல் இன்ஷுரன்சும், இன்வெஸ்ட்மெண்டாக இலவச “கையளவேனும்” நிலமும், தாலிக்கு தங்கமும், பாராளுமன்ற, சட்டமன்ற தேர்தல் நேரங்களில் ரொக்கப் பணமும் இலவசமாகவே நமக்கு கிடைக்கிறது.
இப்போது சொல்லுங்கள், திமுக தமிழகத்தை குவைத் ஆக்குகிறதா இல்லையா?

First of all iam happy to hear that u r not in a position to look for the freebies from government to lead your life / progress in your life. your current financial earning may be satisfying to you.. But what about those under privileged people who are crushed by your society/group of people indirectly (iam sure there are people who are affected by your lifestyle/ source for your money etc etc), you dont care about them and you dont want to… it all starts from the inflation caused in our society where you are able to cope with it and others cant.. to your comfort lifestyle there are some people definitely getting affected,,, to lead a normal life in chennai it is enough to have a maximum of Rs 15000 per month.. but please evaluatee your current income and see what you doing with the remaining amount.. ???
No one is proper here (including me).. but hate why people behave like they are the only good people in ths whole country… Stop cursing others and see what you could do to poor and enhance their life..
There are many children in our country without proper nutrition and food, but we are celebrating our/child’s birthday in a grand manner wasting lot of food sources etc etc…

Just go back and think why you studied and why you are in a job, why you want to excel in your job, why you want more salary and what motivates you to have that higher income and what enables you to have that higher income. Then you will realize Government is not for giving freebies, it is for ensuring better life for people. What is better for the country? Good schools and better education or Rs.1000 crore spent for giving freebies? Good roads or a chinese mixi?

Moreover, taking the free color television, do you know where they are manufactured (ELCOT)? Do you know who owns it?
Are you aware that SUN Family is into almost all sorts of business. The latest is Travels like Fastrack.
These freebies whether given or not by any government, will not change the lifestyle of you me or the author of the article. But it will defly have a great impact in the deserved sector that they don’t require to do anything but still can get all. The quality of the freebies is next question. I am not even going to that.
Change in the lifestyle of an educated does not change or affect the life of a deserved.

People of Tamilnadu should understand that we are not beggars to take the freebies.
If someone is thinking about those who are under/below the poverty line, we have to make policies to uplift them and not to degrade them by making them as beggars.
As a tax payer everyone has the right to think about this freebies? we are paying the taxes for the welfare of everyone which includes all poor/middle/upper middle/ and Upper class people.
ANYWAY things are not going to change unless and otherwise we feel that we are not beggars.

Corruption and Politics are inseperable. Despite all the criticism I think DMK Government has always done lot of developmental work in the State. Since they do more work compared to AIADMK they seem to be also making more money.

I have a different view. People are made to believe that more developmental work happened under DMK and there is a wrong belief that MK is a better administrator. The real truth is different. DMK which enjoyed a congenial Government at the center for maximum period, should have done lot more than what has been done (I am not talking about corruption, which is at mind boggling proportions).
None of the roads in Chennai are well maintained while the government goes and spends heavy amount in building a new secretariat and further wastes money in making a dome using Cine Art Directors to just open an incomplete building. Nothing has been done for Electricity / Power generation, while the Government money is spent for giving color TVs.
Real development and able administration took place under AIADMK than under DMK. The most unfortunate thing for AIADMK is the lack of media power. DMK has perfected this art from 1960s. DMK used Cinema (now TV) to capture attention of a larger audience and used that platform effectively to take people to a make believe world.
There were strong descent ten years back when projects and places were named after Jayalalitha. Now, media keeps silent when Government programs are prefixed with “Kalaignar”.
