கணினியில் இந்திய ரூபாய் எழுத்துரு உபயோகிக்க…
இந்திய ரூபாய்க்கு புதிய குறியீடு அமைத்தாகி விட்டது. ஆனால், அதை எப்படி நம் கணினியில் உபயோகிப்பது?
இன்று எதேச்சையாக இணையத்தில் தேடிக் கொண்டிருந்தபோது இதற்காக அமைக்கப்பெற்ற புது எழுத்துரு (font) பற்றி தெரியவந்தது.
ஃபொரோடியன் டெக்னாலஜிஸ் (Foradian Technologies) என்கிற நிறுவனம் இந்த எழுத்துருவை இலவசமாக வழங்குகிறார்கள். கீழே உள்ள லிங்கை க்ளிக் செய்து இதை நீங்கள் கணினியில் C:\WINDOWS\Fonts ஃபோல்டரில் டவுன்லோடு செய்து தேவையான இடங்களில் இந்த எழுத்துருவை உபயோகிக்கலாம்.
டவுன்லோட் செய்ய முகவரி: Indian Rupee Font Rupee_Foradian.ttf
கணினியில் எழுத்துருவை அமைக்கவேண்டிய ஃபோல்டர்: C:\Windows\Fonts (அதில் டவுன்லோடு செய்துவிட்டு அந்த ஃபோல்டரில் Rupee_Foradian.ttf என்கிற ஃபைலை தேடி அதன் மேல் right click செய்து இன்ஸ்டால் செய்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
பின்னர் வேர்ட், எக்ஸல், இமெயிலில் ரூபாய் குறியீட்டை எழுத Rupee Fordian fontஎன்பதை எழுத்துரு லிஸ்ட் மெனுவில் தேர்வு செய்ய வேண்டும்.
ரூபாய் குறியீட்டை உள்ளிட விசைப்பலகையில் மேல் இடது ஓரத்தில் முதலில் (எண் ஒன்றுக்கு வலது புறத்தில் இருக்கும்) விசையை அழுத்த வேண்டும்.

Useful info. I have already downloaded and started using. But when sent in word format, is it not properly displayed in recipient side, if the font is not installed therein.
Good answer of rupee not allowed to be copied.
In one of my articles on Madras Court case recently circulated, I had used the rupee font, converted into pdf and circulated.
There were complaints from some of my friends that they are not able to see the article properly when sent in pdf.
