For people living in gulf countries, a direct flight to major metros such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkatta and major cities of Kerala have never been a problem. One or other airline flies to these destinations.

Flying to Bengaluru, however, is not that easy, especially for Indians living in Kuwait.  Recently, one of my neighbors had to urgently leave for Bengaluru and had to fly via Mumbai, changing flights there (international to domestic) to reach Bengaluru.

Qatar Airways, which is fast becoming a star airline with modern flights and excellent customer service, has now commenced its service for Bengaluru from Kuwait.

They announced this new route through a print media advertisement.  I loved the advertisement at first sight.  The creator of the advertisement has merged tradition with technology by depicting Bengaluru in the form of a network shown as mehndi design.
