It is perfect and can be used interchangeably with costlier. I don't know why we are celebrating Valentine's day, in addition to the various special days we have in our culture. Everyday of ours should be filled with Love. I really think, V-day is for business by Americans, like Appa day, Amma Day and they are trying to use 365 days to boost activities for their economy.
