This movie, Engiruntho Vanthal, is a Tamil remake of the Hindi movie “Khilona” that starred Sanjiv Kumar. This movie story revolves around a rich man who is mentally affected by the sudden demise of his lover and coming back to his normalcy by the care an affection shown by a the attendant (Jayalalitha). Once the hero is fully recovered the whole family tries to shun her off (she gets pregnant by then) but the hero understands the plight of the lady and marries her. It is one of the best movies of Sivaji Ganesan showing his versatility in acting.
