every day we see culprits or accused covered there faces, just curiosity to know what the police law says about covering the face of accused or culprits and police faces beaming as if they have done a great job ( psst.. advertisement tech.)

I also imagined so. But, when culprits are arrested based on legitimate complaint complaints like the one in the Noida rape case, they should be exposed.

Just watch what happens when Mr. Raju gets arrested. He will cover his face all the time as though his face is not known to anyone.

I’d imagine that the reason for allowing them to hide is that they are accused, not proven guilty. I think your idea of public shame is good, but should be for the guilty, not just the accused. Unfortunately by then the story is grown old and cold and doesn’t get the same media attention…
